How do you know if you need to extend your Dell PC warranty and service?

  • When you purchased your Dell PC you did not purchase a service extension and less than a year has gone by (you are still under your initial warranty coverage but about to complete the term).
  • When you purchased your Dell PC you did purchase a service extension but time flies and you have only a few months of coverage left!

Important Note: Extension applies only to warranty and service terms still in effect on Dimension desktops and Inspiron notebooks purchased through Dell Canada. If your warranty and service term has expired, you are not eligible for this extension.

When do we recommend you extend your warranty and service?

  • Right away if you only have a few months left of coverage. Remember once out of coverage you can not extend your warranty and service.

What are some of the benefits of having your Dell PC warranty and service up to date?

  • With In-Home Service*, if required after phone based trouble shooting we will send a technician to your house, usually by next business day !
  • Parts and Labour are covered with your warranty and service so repair costs are locked in!

In-Home Service*

With a Dimension Desktop, you won't have to pack anything up and ship it anywhere. First, a Dell technician will troubleshoot with you online or over the phone to figure out what is wrong with your computer. If a part is broken, a replacement part can be shipped to you and a third-party technician can install it, most often on the next business day.

CompleteCareTM  Coverage*

This optional service repairs or replaces select PCs or peripherals that have been accidentally damaged by spills, drops, falls, or electrical surges

Home Installation*

Have your computer installed quickly by a third-party technician.

Home Installation plus Data Migration*

Have your computer installed quickly by a third-party technician and transfer important files and information from your old computer to your new Dell PC by a third-party technician.
